Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld PC – Post April 15 News Roundup

As we crossed the April 15 finish line, we had more than one reason to celebrate the 2015 ‘season.

At the start of the year, ALL welcomed the appointment of Kristin Kelley, CPA, MST as a Principal of the firm and Laura O’Brien, CPA, MST and Adrienne Mayer, CPA, MST as firm Directors.

Senior Staff Accountant, Janet Dobosh, CPA was promoted to Supervisor.

ALL Supervisor, Angela Morrison, CPA presented a workshop, “QuickBooks Accounting Basics” for more than 60 small business owners at Harvard i-lab in collaboration with SCORE Boston.

ALL was recognized as an “Industry Leader” in the New England region by Accounting Today in its 2015 annual rankings of the top accounting firms and regional leaders in the US, and ranked 29th in the Boston Business Journal’s list of the Top 50 Largest Accounting Firms in the area in 2015.

Our Civic and Corporate Committee (CCC) under Adrienne Mayer’s direction, continued to support the drive to alleviate hunger locally and in MA with their “Jeans for a Cause” program, which in 2015 benefitted the Newton and Brookline Food Pantries and “A Place to Turn” Emergency Food Pantry in Natick.

ALL’s CCC team is currently gearing up for annual participation in Project Bread’s “Walk for Hunger” campaign on Sunday, May 3.  Collectively, ALL has raised and contributed close to $4,000 to hunger relief since 2013.
