Responsibilities

Title Tax Season Intern
Job Information

ALL CPAs is seeking motivated and ambitious Junior and Senior accounting undergraduate students with an interest in tax or graduate students enrolled in an MST or MSA program for our Tax Season PAID internship from January to April.

Our interns play a vital role in the firm’s electronic tax preparation process and will help senior staff, managers and partners with special projects and tax research.

One full week of training is provided to learn the firm’s software programs, the various tax forms and supporting documents for each return.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-prep and preparation of tax work papers and returns for 1040s and 1041s.
  • Validating the physical information is within the electronic file and organized according to the flow of the type of tax return and the work papers associated with it.
  • Identifying and listing open items and missing information during the preparation of the return.
  • Updating work papers, inputting new information within the return and reviewing the return before sending for manager or partner review.
  • May be assigned special projects such as bookkeeping (using QuickBooks), entering in trial balances for corporation/partnership returns, drafting IRS correspondence letters, state tax filing requirement research
