This position will offer the opportunity to lead engagements in the area of Accounting and Auditing in addition to mastering new skills in the area of Tax.

The Audit Senior will be responsible for the preparation of workpapers and financial statements for audit, review and compilation engagements.  They will train and develop junior staff through delegation and review.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of workpapers and financial statements for audit, review and compilation engagements.
  • Research complex GAAP issues and formulate clear and concise conclusions.
  • Supervise junior staff and communicate with managers and partners regarding engagements.
  • Direct communication with clients.
  • Preparation of individual, fiduciary, partnership, corporate and non-profit tax returns.
  • Actively participate in continuing education and professional growth activities.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years recent audit experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MSA a plus.
  • CPA License preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products; Experience with CCH ProSystems, Engagement, PPC and Axcess preferred.
  • Able to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
