Title Tax Senior
Job Information

This position will offer exposure to complex tax returns including partnerships and corporations.  The Tax Senior will take ownership of their engagements and regularly participate in client meetings with managers and partners.

The Tax Senior will supervise, train and develop junior staff on tax related issues and firm procedures as the firm believes in mentoring all employees to allow for career advancement and to promote from within.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of individual, fiduciary, partnership and corporate tax returns.
  • Preparation of complex returns for high net worth individuals and multi-state returns.
  • Research complex tax issues and formulate clear and concise conclusions.
  • Recommend client tax planning strategies and ideas to managers and partners.
  • Communicate with supervisors, managers and partners regarding engagements.
  • Actively participate in continuing education and professional growth activities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years recent public accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MST or MSA a plus.
  • CPA License preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products; Experience with CCH ProSystems, Engagement, and Axcess preferred.
  • Able to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
