The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is the most significant tax legislation in over 30 years. Its wide-sweeping changes will impact both individual & business taxes in 2018 and beyond. Ron Loberfeld, CPA, managing partner of ALL CPAs, will present an overview “Making Cents of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” to the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Nantucket Dreamland Theatre. Ron will cover the key provisions of the tax reform and how the changes will affect individuals and businesses. Topics covered include changes in tax brackets, changes in various deductions, changes for C-Corporate tax rate, 20% pass-through deduction, AMT changes, like-kind exchanges, and other provisions.
